Statement re: Sean Murray (Director of ‘Unquiet Graves’)
On various dates between August and October 2020 the twitter account ‘BarabaraJPym@barbarapym2′ posted numerous outrageous and derogatory comments in relation to our client and the integrity of the documentary ‘Unquiet Graves’ which he directed.
Our client has now been made aware of confirmation that Eoghan Harris, a long-term columnist with the Sunday Independent, has been operating this fake twitter account with other unknown contributors.
Our client is a distinguished academic and award-winning filmmaker. We will take all necessary steps to vindicate his position in relation to any defamatory comments made against him and will pursue all legal remedies available in these circumstances against Mr Harris and other contributors to this fake account.
